August 26 — September 3, 2021
The Emberlight Festival's Main Stage brings the thrill of live performances to the western Upper Peninsula. Performers from your favorite Broadway musicals,
The Metropolitan Opera, and award-winning actors,
dancers and musicians will headline our productions.
Emberlight's Main Stage brings the special opportunity for residents and visitors of the Upper Peninsula to see acclaimed professional performers in their own backyard. Performances on the Main Stage each summer will include chamber music concerts, full-scale musicals, dance companies, one-person cabaret acts,
or classical music recitals.
Connect to live
in an unexpected place
There are few places on earth where you can experience
the majesty of Lake Superior all afternoon,
and then see a world-class performance that night.
Only at Emberlight can you see these performances in the middle of the natural beauty
of the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
To ensure we protect our audiences and artists,
we are planning our Main Stage performances outdoors
at the base of the bucolic Big Powderhorn Mountain.
This way we can adapt to every guideline set by the CDC
while the August sunsets provide a perfect overture to our shows.
Become a part of the action!
We are currently looking for volunteers to join our teams of ushers, security, box office, stage management, parking, and greeters.
Visit our Volunteers page for more information.
More information will be released through the spring about
our 2021 Guest Artists and programming.
A full season announcement will be announced at the beginning of May 2021.
