August 26 — September 3, 2021
The Emberlight Ambassador Program is a specialized mentorship opportunity for the next generation of art lovers, volunteers, community leaders, artists, humanitarians, and socially conscious individuals.
An Emberlight Ambassador is a young person between the ages of 16 - 22 years old who expresses major life goals and exhibits the drive to turn those dreams into reality.
A potential Ambassador does not necessarily need to be involved in the arts.
The Ambassadors are the heart of Miles Mykkanen's dream for the Emberlight Festival. A child of two career music teachers, Miles shares his family's love of education and believes the Ambassador program is his chance to give back to the community that raised him.
When an individual is accepted to be an Emberlight Ambassador, they will receive a bespoke curriculum that may include master classes, seminars, and workshops throughout the summer, along with performance opportunities during the Emberlight Festival. Advisors will work with the Emberlight team to build a unique program for each accepted Ambassador that supports their dreams with the resources of the Emberlight Festival.
Acceptance into the Emberlight Ambassador Program is highly competitive.
There are six positions available in 2021.
Individuals who fully complete the curriculum and program requirements will receive a certificate of completion, a $150 grant,
and a letter of recommendation from an Emberlight representative
to be used on college applications or scholarship forms in the future.
Applications open on February 15, 2021.
