Ambassador

What is the registration fee?


Accepted Ambassadors must pay a $75 registration fee to confirm their participation in the program. Please note: Individuals who successfully complete the Ambassador Program curriculum will receive a grant for $150, a certificate of completion, and a letter of recommendation to be used on college applications or scholarship forms.




When is the application deadline?


Applications for the Emberlight Ambassador Program are due April 30, 2021 at 11:59pm CT.




When will I be notified if I am accepted?


We will be reaching out to all applicants by the end of May 2021.




What is the time commitment?


Ambassadors will be expected to complete 20-25 volunteer hours during the 2021 Festival (this could include ushering, parking, greeting, assisting the artistic staff, etc.) Accepted Ambassadors must be available on Friday, July 2, Friday, September 3, and Sunday, September 5 for various presentations and performances. In addition to those dates, Emberlight will schedule a handful of master classes, meetings with local business leaders, and activites periodically throughout the summer.




Who is an Ambassador?


The Emberlight Ambassadors are an exclusive group of young people chosen to represent the Festival on and off the stage. The Emberlight Ambassador program gives young people the chance to explore their talents and find ways to utilize those talents in the world.We are looking for the next generation of art lovers, volunteers, community leaders, artists, humanitarians, and socially conscious individuals.
